Hi rodceaser yes I have photos of him with my parents and entire family. Ave taken the advice given by these wonderful people on here and we have agreed to try them out. Mind sharing ur experience with me?What happened and did u manage to sail through? Thanx(and btw am looking for any Kenyan who had been in my situation and sailed through I wish to ask a few Qns)

hi , my cr 1 visa got denied at nairobi embassy last week , my " red sheet" reads :- section 221(g) prohibits issuance of immigrant visa because , marriage for immigration purpose only, failure to establish a bona-fide relationship.

i am absolutely not gonna give up , my hubby is has an appointment with an attorney next week.

the co didnt even ask me for evidence she just dismissed me , she dint recognize our civil wedding , yet we did a 100 guest traditional ceremony.

anyway keep hope alive and God will see us through.

I am very sorry to hear this...the Nairobi Embassy seems to be getting tougher and tougher these days. When the CO asked about your husband's first marriage...had he previously petitioned someone else? It seems the CO is suspicious of that with her comment of "ferrying people". How long was he married the first time? How long have you two been together and how many times has he visited you? Something must have raised a red flag somewhere because the CO didn't even allow you to answer the questions nor ask for any evidence...seems her mind was already made up before you got in the door. If he has only visited you one time and you got married on that first visit, and you haven't seen each other since...that's a huge red flag, and is most likely the reason you were denied. A little more information would be helpful so we can try to help you more.

Men are like stars ~ there are a million of them, but only ONE can make your dreams come true. I found my STAR...

he had petitioned for his parents , who are living there. his former marriage lasted nearly five years. weve been together for 3 years now. the only thing that i found amiss in the beginning is that one co said she cant trace my medical report .which i did in march . they kept me outside for about 3hrs (but she asked me for a copy of the results) after , am not sure if she traced them.

You are definitely past the date. Have your SO call USCIS and tell them that your case was returned from the embassy and that the embassy returned it on Dec 20th. Ask them to please put in a service request for you. Your case should start moving again from that point. Just keep up with your dates.

Make sure to do this or it could take a lot longer.

You have to really watch your case at this point to make sure there are no mishaps.

When a case is reaffirmed and sent back to the embassy...each embassy is different at this point on a reaffirmed case. The embassy will notify you and give you an appointment and let you know what to do. The Amman embassy ask for "he will need to bring new medical, new police certificate , his passport, 2 photos and forms ds230 (1,2).". I wouldnt do any of this until it gets to that point because like i said...every embassy treats reaffirmed cases differently.

The most important thing right now is the service request.

Best of luck!!!

hi, how r u?

i would like to as you a question . . . in the interview day,, should i have bring original police certificate , cause as you know... for IV package NVC ask us to send them Original police certificate and i did.. and now the embassy wants another one.. what the hell of that.. i made one from CIS before and i cant do another one now because it take 2 weeks to have and there is no time because my interview next week.. so can i take with me just copy , i mean is the embassy will approve that.

thx

When they re-affirm what do they say? What kind of letter do you get? What is the difference with NOIR? What will you need to do when you get the reaffirmation vs. when you get the NOIR? Please advise.
