Hello everyone I am a new VJ member and I have been visiting this site for some time. I finally have a question of the community. I visited my fiancee last October, for the first time, and as scheduling has worked out, her interview will be in September. This will be about 11 months since my visit. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Will the time in between visit and interview be an issue? This is for the consulate in Manila. Any experiences will be helpful. Thanks.

It shouldn't be an issue. Plenty of couples here has gone through the same thing you will be going through. I myself have only seen

Patty once last October. We've been talking to each other since May 2010. I will be there for the interview. We are shooting for 2nd

or 3rd week of August. I just think it is well worth it to be there during the interview and when we travel back to the SFO. It will definitely put her mind at ease.

Good luck on the rest of your journey!

Hi! It doesnt matter as long as you've seen each together within 2 years. I didnt even see my fiance for 13 months but still we were approved. So no worries :)

we have the same case..my boyfriend visits me once in 9 days only last october.and he don't bother to come and see me again. i heard they will denied some case as it looks like the relationship is not genuine..(i hope not).. i know there is a lot of couple visits only once upon the whole process but most of them came back during interview or stayed longer when they visited their fiance ..or even have engagement party with family..a proofs of a genuine relationship.. well lets hope for the best and i hope we all make it to the interview.. good luck
