I´m wondering if there is a timeline from when you apply for the K-1 visa until you give your interview?

And I also wonder if it is possible to go and visit in the us on an esta visa while applying for a K-1 visa?

I hope someone can help me aswer these questions...

It is possible to visit the US during the process but as always strong ties to home are required and the beneficiary can always be denied entry by CBP. My fiancée has visited twice since we applied with no problems.

The time between starting K1 and interview depends from case to case, as for visiting the US on the esta (VWP) i done that twice after starting the K1 at POE i just told the officer the truth i am here visiting my fiancee and that we had started the K1 visa process.
