"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

My son is a massive PSN addict, and he already has taken over Battlefield 2. We downloaded the demo for 3 last week, and he says it ranks up there as a favourite. Nothing beats COD Zombies though! Also Red Dead Redemption and Borderlands make the rounds here regularly.

I on the other hand, am not a First person shooter fanatic, though I love to watch him play zombies. His PSN is EZIO67587 if you need someone to play with??

+1 for FPS! That's all I play. I play on the PC though. I started out way back with UT99 and Tactical Ops AoT. It's addictive but a blast. This BF3 demo is nice. :)

I remember watching my brother play DOOM when I was a teenager, he'd log in on a BBS board and get his friends to run around killing each other. I could watch for hours! The New Duke Nukem looks pretty good too, if you're looking for more?

My son is looking forward to November, when the next COD franchise is expected to roll out, we've looked at the reviews for it, pretty excited. Do you still have the option to play online with the PC versions?

I played Halo 3 ODST on Xbox 360 obsessively for about a year.

Stay up to 4 in the morning playing it and then that inspiration to get out of bed around 9 or 10am is the thought of going back online into the war zone.

But I realized it wasn't exactly getting me anywhere in life so I quit cold turkey.

Video games are way too amazing these days

India, gun buyback and steamroll.

I played the single player of Duke Nukem (offline) back in the mid '90's and it was a blast.

All multi player games for PC are online...PC's were way before Xbox.

17 hours straight is my record for constant playing. Three clan wars and then the pubs (public servers). Like you said, it can take over your life.

Giggity! (this means I'm excited :D)

I'm building a new gaming rig (PC) this fall just so I can play this game on max settings.

I had to share in here that I'm totally psyched waiting for Dead Island! I don't know if you've checked it out, but it's a first person slasher (I like these!) that's sure to be a massively good time.

Check out the trailer if you haven't seen it already:

(sorry, can't embed for some reason, but really worth the click)
