hi guys ,so he went and he deposited the documents lady gave him a sheet and told him to wait for a consul to call. has anybody been through this if so how long did it take in santo domingo?

Deposit what documents in Santo Domingo? Did you, indeed, file for a fiance visa as your profile says?

Could be anywhere from about two weeks to a month on average. Most of the time a week or two is all that's needed IF they took his passport.

Thank you! they didnt take his passport but he was on AP for a year after the interview b/c of those missing documents, which we told them they have it already, after a year in AP the lady called and said she needed them, then we called her to verify exactly what she needed and she said no that they dont need it anymore the case was closed that we can go ahead and deposit waiver. now after waiver approval he went to the last interview consul says he needs it.WTH is not our fault and i think we are in AP again for another jeez!!!! If they didnt take passport what does it mean? Wasnt a year enough to investigate? and the consul lied he said you will get visa as soon as you bring does documents. im so confused wshat do you think is going on?
