Hello everyone:

I am preparing AOS package with my wife. My status-USC. My wife status: F1 visa, she is on OPT now. We live together in California.

I am going to use our assets to meet the requirement (3x the poverty line)

1. Should I provide 12 month or 6 month bank statements to show I have consistent figures in the bank?

1a. I made significant withdrawals in March and April this year. Now the balance is back to normal. Should I put an explanation for the withdrawals?

1b. Should I ask banker to write a statement that I have consistent savings during last 12 month period?

2. for my investment assets (mutual funds, bonds etc), shall I provide most recent balance

statement or I should provide past 12 month balance as well?

Thanks for your help!

Jeff

I provided 12 month bank statements

1a. I made significant withdrawals in March and April this year. Now the balance is back to normal. Should I put an explanation for the withdrawals?

USCIS official should make decision on this one

1b. Should I ask banker to write a statement that I have consistent savings during last 12 month period?

I asked my bank to give a statement to show when the accounts are opened with current balance for each account.

2. for my investment assets (mutual funds, bonds etc), shall I provide most recent balance

statement or I should provide past 12 month balance as well?

I attached quarterly statements.
