Sorry about the post. This set up here is a little different than i2us. I have been following i2us since May 2005. I'm lexidoodle over there. Congrates on your approval. My daughter and alien husband are now waiting for an interview, I am guessing Feb, Mar 2007. I have been studying all of the waiver letters, I now have 2 paragraphs done! Phew! I am not a good writer, I seem to go on and on and on, then delete, change and then get frustrated and stop for a while. At least I found i2us in plenty of time so there won't be any surprises..................unless the laws or procedures change. Again, good luck, it's all behind you now.

Well my husband and I both called last week and they said that we still was not approved and that it would be 7 more months before we could be approved. I can't beleive that, what makes us take long than everyone else. My husband has been in Mexico almost 2 year or it will be 2 years when or if his waiver is approved.

My husband has been in Mexico since April 1,2004.It seems like forever.I know your waiver will be approved soon.I would call again next week to check.Like I said I called around Feb12 and they told me the same thing...8-9 months. But my approval letter says I was approved on Feb.9.

I don't really think the people answering phone even bother to check the case # in their comp.they just tell you 9-10 more months.Just keep checking.Maybe they will look better next time.Good Luck
