August Interview

I called the NVC last night, Friday the 15th. They said that there were no appointments available for August and to call back next month :crying:. I hope everybody else did better than we did .

What date did they close your case? I had seen people get early August already when their case was closed on the last day in June. I bet that most of the appointments were taken up by the K-1 since they can schedule themselves and we have to wait for NVC to do so for CR-1 visa.

well I verfied also that its true that their are no more appointments for August. I think they should let us schedule our own appointments like the K-1 visa. I think thats why all the appointments are taken up before those who have CR-1.

My parents cases have been completed just yesterday at NVC. I called this morning to ask when the interview will be scheduled. He said the same thing to me- no more available interviews in Manila and to call back next month to see if an interview for September will be scheduled. It's so near and yet so far! I'll keep you guys posted once I hear from NVC again. Good luck to all of us. :)

Just be patient, the same thing happened to my wife & stepchild, wifes case closed middle of May and stepchilds case closed middle of June. Since there is a backlog at the embassy we had to wait for the next month before they gave us a interview date in August. My guess would be is that you will have a interview in September pending how backed up the Embassy is.

Good Luck,

Tony
