my fiance had her interview on monday july 11. We keep checking back for approval and calling the DOP and all they say is its pending... they havent stamped it yet. Anyone else still waiting. We've heard everything from 4 days approval to 4 weeks approval. Can't believe they take your passport. Anyone out there recently been interviewed and approved quickly?

There's a thread and a poll about it here: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/302129-waiting-for-our-passports-from-montreal/ Four days isn't that long to wait for a visa. Some people get them quickly, but a lot of people wait quite awhile (weeks). I imagine the further you live away from the consulate, the longer it takes to receive them.

Well of course they take your passport...your Visa gets put into it.

Mine took a week and that was just a week before it started slowing down. It seemed those who had an interview the next week were waiting for a few weeks to receive theirs. Just be patient
