Hello everyone, I have a question and I need some help. My petition for the I-129f was approved and now we have to apply for a K1 Visa and my Fiancee is Russian but has been living in Germany for 10 years now. So do we have to have a police certificate for Germany and Russia or just Germany? If anyone could help I would really appreciate it....Thanks

Police certificate is REQUIRED for ALL PLACES that you have resided for more than 6 months within your finacee's home country (i.e Russia) since the age of 16 years. If your fiancee has lived outside her home country for more than 12 months (i.e Germany) than a police certificate is REQUIRED from each country as well. So for your case you need Russian Police certificates and Germany police certificates.

Hope that helps,

Dave
