I am quite worried that my fiance might receive a RFE notice because when he filed our case he only included two pictures of us. Honestly when he came home here for more than two weeks, we haven't had much time to take lots of pictures and I think this is also killing me that i might get denied of a VISA because we only have few pictures to show the consul, you think this could be a big problem or maybe consider as a red flag though we have other evidences of our genuine relationship like chatlogs, emails, call history, remittances receipts and snail mails. PLEASE HELP ME GUYS!!!!

Relax. You should be okay. Besides, there's no point worrying about getting an RFE or not. Just take it day by day, and let things happen. If you do get one (which I doubt), it won't be the end of the world. As you stated, you provided other evidences so you should be okay. :) Goodluck and while you are still waiting, focus on other things you'll be needing, such as NBI clearance, getting a new passport if needed, BC, Cenomar etc.. Don't wait till you get your noa2 to get them coz you'll just be rushing then. Goodluck and God bless :)

My Journey:

We met through a study-abroad program in Shanghai, China in August of 2009

We got engaged March of 2010

I received my K1 VISA in 6 months (June-December 2010)

We were married 04/02/2011
I received my conditional 2-year greencard (AOS) in 2.5 months with no interview (April-June 2011)

Our son was born 02/03/2013

I received my masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology 04/17/2013

I received my 10-year greencard (ROC) in 3 months with no interview (March-June 2013)

My husband returned from deployment 06/20/2013

My naturalization journey took 4 months (April-August 2014)

I became a US citizen on 08/01/2014

Received passport in 3 weeks (regular processing)

Thank you, VJ! smile.png

hi, thanks. Honestly, I already all have these stuffs at hand, what I am only lacking now are the DS forms, lol. Just confused though if i should prepare the DS230 part 1 on K1 visa? should i? and should i need to wait for the packet or i should just download it instead. I wanna be there atleast before the year end. Truly excited indeed. Mine was file last April 25 and got the NOA1 on May 2, when do you think it will be approved. I guess you are right, I just keep myself stress out about all these things. It seems I am stacked in here and just wait to be with him..

I think there's a good chance for you to be here by the end of the year.. I'm not sure how long it takes to receive the NOA2 nowadays but since you already have all the things you need, as soon as you get your noa2 and you get your case number you can pay right away and then do your medical and schedule your interview.. :) You can do it all in about two months.. :) God bless!! :)

Can my fiance get my Manila case number by calling the NVC? or i should be the one to inquire it from the Embassy here in Manila? And how can I able to do that? Sorry for being so inquisitive and I do really appreciate your replies, thank you so much. :)

I think the USC can call NVC to get the MNL case number 1-2 weeks after NOA2.. after that the beneficiary can already pay at BPI and also get a scanned copy of the noa2 you can do your medical with just that.. Once you pay you can also sched your interview online using your BPI receipt number and passport number.. something like that. You can get better answers at the PI forum for those who have done this recently.. It's been a while for me :)
