B1/B2 VISA...The only red flag i see on your interview day maybe what your hubby filled out on his visa application forms in Lagos. The embassy isn't known to grant visitors Visa when the applicant has the intentions of immigrating.

The presumption in the law is that every visitor visa applicant is an intending immigrant. Therefore, applicants for visitor visas must overcome this presumption by demonstrating that:

The purpose of their trip is to enter the U.S. for business, pleasure, or medical treatment;

That they plan to remain for a specific, limited period;

Evidence of funds to cover expenses in the United States;

Evidence of compelling social and economic ties abroad; and

That they have a residence outside the U.S. as well as other binding ties that will insure their return abroad at the end of the visit.

Here is a link with the reviews for your local office in Detroit http://www.visajourney.com/reviews/index.php?cnty=&cty=Detroit+MI&dfilter=5 You can read there how other applicants interviews went. You can also look back some old posts here, I think recently similar questions were answered.

Also take a look at the Adjustment of Status Case File Progress Reports, I know the March filers have posted some interview reviews in that thread (look after page 60). Here's the link http://www.visajourney.com/forums/forum/138-adjustment-of-status-case-filing-and-progress-reports/

From what I've read on these posts your case may have some red flags because of the short courtship, so be prepared to address that.

As far as documents, what you have listed already should be enough. Bring originals of all copies you submitted such as birth certificates, marriage certificate, translation of documents, tax forms, I-94, appartment lease or house deed etc. Make sure you both bring IDs, your husbands EAD/AP card if he receieved one, his passport.

To show mingling of finances bring statements or letters from institutions where you have joint accounts - bank accounts, credit cards, car insurance, health insurance, gym membership, cell phones, utility bills, anything that has both of your names on it.

To show your relationship - pictures of your wedding, pictures with each other's familes and friends, travel itineraries, affidavits from friends, family, or co-workers. Cards or emails you've gotten from his family and vice versa, anything else you can show that the world knows you as a married couple.

And I think you might need to bring a emplyement letter, the requirements should be in the interview letter you've received.

07/27/11 - Green Card Interview - Approved
08/05/11 - Received Card!!!

07/09/2013 - Mailed ROC packet to VT SC

07/11/2013 - NOA1 date for ROC

08/13/13 - Bio appointment

Was out of town and had to reschedule BIO apt

I don't remember the exact dates, but it went something like this
