Removal Companies in the UK...

Does anyone know of any decent removal companies in the UK? One of them told me it would take 10wks for my stuff to get to the US!!

Is this true of most of them?

Ships take a while to cross the ocean And they don't sail every day. If you're only moving smaller stuff you could ship it by air, but that costs double/triple.

Having said that, my stuff did make it quicker than 10 weeks. Between 6 and 8 I guess, from door to door. Can't remember how long from it arriving in port and it reaching me.

I used Excess Baggage. I had 14 boxes = 40 cubic feet.
