im going to have my flight on next saturday and im sure i will feel dizzy, is there any medicine for motion sickness??

Try Dramamine also known as Dimenhydrinate.

Dimenhydrinate is used to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness caused by motion sickness. Dimenhydrinate is in a class of medications called antihistamines. It works by preventing problems with body balance. Dimenhydrinate comes as a tablet and chewable tablet to take by mouth with or without food.

dramamine or benadryl. Try looking in Rose Pharmacy, Watsons, Mercury Drug. You may also find it in the stores at terminal 1. I have not seen it in terminal 2, but then again I was not looking. You may find in it Robinson mall near the US Ebmbassy or in SM Mall of Asia. Best of luck to you on this. Also a little tip, drink soda before and during travel. this works as well. Avoid tea, coffee, and water. You can also use ibuprofen to dull the effects.

Garlic or Ginger (or Ginger Tea). If your really concerned, minimize your food prior to & during the flight. Vomit bags are available on the flight, just ask one of the attendants. It's not as bad as riding a boat, so don't worry too much.

Have you ever flown on a big plane for a long time? If not, it's not like riding between islands in the PI. Much smoother, and less likely to upset you. Unless, of course you hit turbulence.

Just take bonamine, it'll help. I know its gonna be a long flight so you can take 2, 1 before your flight and 1 after 6-8 hours. Its a big plane so you wont feel its moving, not unless you hit a turbulence.

depending on your flight (if in the evening): get on a hot plane, take off, pull down shades, about 1 hour after take-off: dinner, then sleep, about 6 to 8 hours later wake up cold because you did not use a blanket, about 8 hours in flight, hot towel, freshen up, then breakfast, then 2 to 3 hours until landing. if you like movies, you can watch about 4 to 5 films, possibly 6.

Its been a month since i got here in the US.

I never had any problem riding the plane although it was my firstime. I thought Im gona get dizzy or something but since it was a big plane I experienced less turbulence and the weather was fine and it was really cool inside. I sat by the window to see while it took off Manila and landed San Francisco.

I travelled by myself, there's no one to comfort me when I puke so I hang on tight, calmed myself and chatted with my seatmates who were very nice to me. I chewed gum too and enjoyed watching movies (i watched 4 movies throughout the trip) to remove the anxiety feeling.

All I remember now was the pilot giving his warmest welcome while announcing the plane will land in 30 minutes....
