Hi everyone,

Just a quick question... when you get Packet 3, do you mail off DS-230(1) and a copy of your passport first or do you mail those along with the checklist and the applicant statement in one go?

I'm just a little unsure and I'm also not sure if this is the same generally or just for Malaysia.

Thanks!

I'm from New Zealand, so it could be slightly different.

I rang the consulate because i was unsure by the wording of my list of forms / requirements if i should send some off immediatly or wait until i had everything (currently waiting on fiancee to send me I 134),

consulate said it was up to me to choose and could mail my forms in in one or two lots.

NZ asks for, Firstly: DS 230 PART 1 / 2x DS 156 / DS 156K / 2x extra passport photos and a copy of passport, police cert (this can all be sent off together as your first pack, either with or followed by the next list)

Secondly : Birth cert, medical exam, I 134, proof of own funds & bank account / CV.

Hope this helps :)
