Questions for those who are done with their interview

Hello. I am in the middle of arranging all my documents for the interview. I need help for these 2 questions:

1. I will bring an album for our pictures. What is the measurement of the window where you slide your documents when the CO asked for it?

2. My schedule is at 8:30am. If I go there by 7am, will they let me in or are they letting people enter the embassy in batches? How early can I go inside the embassy? Do I need to wait til the guards ask those people who are scheduled at 8:30am to fall in line and go inside?

Thank you so much for the help :)

hi!

what i did was i chose a few pics from my album and paste them on short bond papers and wrote captions on it. So it's easier to slip it under the small hole of the window but i also brought the album with me just in case i'll need to show more. The filipino interviewer looked at my pictures but he only browsed at it and gave it back to me and told me to show it to the consul. Well the consul just asked me to show one picture and that's it. She didn't even ask me to slip it under, she just looked at it through the glass window lol.

I think 7am is an ok calltime for an 830am appointment. The guard will ask you to fall in line according to the type of visa. There's a separate lane for K1 visas. Don't worry you'll be guided accordingly :) God bless! :)

sis, there is no need for you to bring an album.just choose 8 to 15 most important captions..you with him,him with your whole family.ang importante ay complete ka ng mga documents at masasagot mo yong mga tanong ng CO.

pero minsan kahit complete docs mo..pag d maganda ang timpla ng araw ng CO...ay mag hahanap at maghahanap ng mga kung ano anong mga papel..hangang sa mabigyan ka ng form 221g.just like what happened to me.

sa ngayon..waiting na lang ako ng visa namin ng anak ko.after waiting for 14 working days..bago ma approved at ma print yong visa.antay ko na lang yong courier ..within this week...

goodluck sa journey mo

Thank you for all the input, guys! I already have the pictures in the album so I was trying to figure out if the album will fit the window before doing the plan B which is just to bring the pictures and not put them in the album. As for my second question, I hope someone can answer it. My husband will not be around during the interview since he can't take time off of work due to a business meeting next month in Shanghai.
