does anyone here have the same experience as mine? how long again the processing of it if we mailed the documents in embassy?

hi jhoie!

im also under 221g. i passed my docs last june 21 and i called yesterday, the agent said it's still under review. they also can't or don't want to give any period of processing time. what type of docs do they want you to submit? they allowed you to have a joint sponsor? my fiance had his dad to co-sponsor. but during my interview, the consul told me that they don't allow co-sponsorship for k1 visas. i was a bit surprised because my fiance even called uscis if it's ok and they said it's okay and that there shouldn't be any problem. anyway, i asked the consul the second time about co-sponsorship, and that's when she asked who and asked for the documents. good thing she took it also. but still asked for additional docs. which im thankful for at least she still had some mercy and didn't deny me outrightly. :-) my fiance and i researched about it and found out that joint sponsorship is not allowed in Manila. lol. Oh well, i guess it's still under the consulate officer's discretion. Hope everything works out for you as well. :-)

I have to submit I-864, w2 and 1040.

Yes, mine is under AR. I gave all those documents along with the affidavit of support to the consul during my interview. Even if she didn't want to take it at first but i kinda insisted. lol. The joint sponsor should be an immediate family of your fiance. Maybe his dad or mom or any sibling who has good income. You will need to get the co-sponsor's 1040s and W2s of the most recent years. In my case they asked for 2009-2010, but i also submitted 2008, just to be sure. They also asked for the original copies from me. I provided the docs for both my fiance (petitioner) and the joint sponsor.
