Filed: Timeline

Id like to first thank everyone who helped me to begin with to file the I-129F. I filed for those of you who are curious and received the NOA1 dated 02/18/11 and the NOA2 was approved on 06/23/11. My fiance is planning on

going to Mexico City to visit her dad for the next month or so and so Im curious about timing and am wondering if some of you might have answers for the following questions:

1. When I have the NOA2 letter in hand that will have everything that I need in order to schedule an appointment at a consulate Im asuming. There's no problem with my fiance doing the biometric part in Mexico City even though

she is from Monterrey right?

2. When I send her copies of the information she needs for the interview is it ok for me to black out sensitive information from them? I.e. socials etc???

3. Most importantly, does anyone have a current idea on how long appointments are running in CDJ right now? i.e. if I was to schedule today, when would the soonest appointment be available? There's nothing that prevents us from waiting a month or so and then scheduling an appointment at that time right?

4. Am I correct in saying that there's a 6month window to schedule an appointment from the NOA2 date and a 6month window to enter the US once the Visa is approved????

5. Can the interview appointment be setup online? Does anything need to be physically sent to schedule the interview or can this be scheduled over the phone or internet?

I appreciate the help and good luck to everyone still waiting for their NOA2!
