Hello! Are there any filers out there who went through the Yaounde embassy and were put in "administrative processing"? My fiancee's case has been in AP for 9 weeks already. Is there anything that can be done here or do we just have to wait it out? Been to my congressman's office already but I have a feeling that because my last name is not Martinez or Garcia (no offense intended - I live in McAllen, TX) that's not going to help me much. I went to his office today (3 weeks after my initial visit) and the lady up front doesn't even have a record of me being there. She went to the back office, came back and told me that my case was still 'being reviewed". Same story I get from the embassy.

Any experiences from other consulates/embassies will help me put things in perspective.
