hello vj'ers!!

i got an e mails this afternoon from the us embassy manila. and on that e mail..it says that:

The case is pending review by a consular officer. We will notify you once the review of the case is completed.

what does it mean?how long will it take to have our visas?

please if anyone who have the same experienced as mine...pls share and give me inputs.

We didn't receive and email but we are in the same situation. Just means they are reviewing all your documents and will give you a decision when they are done. It could be a couple of days it could be a couple of months. Varies from case to case. I know this answer is not what you want hear. Did they take your fiance's passport?

im the beneficiary...from the philippines :) my daughter and i interviewed may 24, 2011.the CO told me that we're approved for visa..BUT in order for them to complete the process..they're given me a 221g form together with our passports...i then need have to send thenm the NBI (like fbi in the usa) with AKA from my previous marriage.

i sent them the required document with our passport last june 9, 2011 and the consular officer got hold of it june 14...

i hope they wont take long for the review..my daughter needs to be in the sates before the school starts :wacko:
