I am asking this for a friend.....

This person had their interview in Vancouver and an application for a waiver was sent to USCIS a few months ago...Today they got an email from the consulate asking some questions to update the file. Does the consulate email to update information mean that it is the final step? Any thoughts are welcome...

Interview for what?

What waiver and what grounds was the waiver used on?

Knowing more information will help answer.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Geez....me of all people didn't put information in that is needed after getting after others for doing the same thing....

It is a K-1 Visa.....it's a I601 form.. Application to Waive Excludability..
