Being a bit of a pest, but the US Embassy in Dublin, Ireland confirmed that they sent packet 3 to my fiance one week ago. He's in the same city as the embassy! Should it be taking this long? Do you think we should contact the embassy again?

Advice appreciated! B-)

Yeah a week is past the normal time it takes for receiving mail, especially if he's in Dublin. But An Post is probably to blame, and/ or one of the many bank holidays. Give it a few more days and it will probably show up. If it doesn't have him call his nearest An Post.

We got our explanation today. The packet was sent to the US attorney at the EIIC that assisted us in filing for the K1. I guess because he's the attorney on record, they sent packet 3 to him instead of to my fiance. Strange, but at least it has been received.
