It means the consulate will schedule your interview date. You will have to take all your documents and evidence to the embassy. All the best.

Yes, it is good news! The consulate in Lagos should recive the document (give or take) in another week. I do not know exactly when mine got to the consulate, however I sent an email to request for an interview date as soon as I was told it's been shipped off. It took about a week and a half to get a response back with the interview date and instructions. Just to keep your mind and your hands busy before you get bored (like i was), you can email the Consular's office to request that an interview date be scheduled. Do not forget to include both your names, dates of birth, and case number. good luck and all the very best!!

That would be the sensible thing to do. However, we contacted both clinics when we received confirmation that our case had been shipped off to the embassy. One of them (not sure which one), said it was okay to come in at anytime, the other said we would have to come in with the letter we received from the Embassy. Their advise was quite reasonable. Because of the expiration of the medicals (which we do not know for sure whether it is 3months or 6 months), we were told it is okay to make sure we have a date first so as to ensure that early medical examination will not expire before the d-day. I perfectly understand your situation right now, i bet you just want to get things going. But I would suggest you wait, get your date, your letter, and then do the medicals. That way, you have a letter to take with you, and also specific instructions from the Embassy. If you have sent them an email, just wait. I am sure they will give you enough time to get everything done before the interview. So don't worry about getting delayed. Patience is a virtue, and so is inpatience. But in a couple of weeks or less, you should hear back. All the very best!![
