Wife has hypenated name on Passport

We have visited the Philippines consulate in Chicago to renew her passport. Her old passport has her maiden name on it. Then we had a report of marriage also stamped in her passport. The consulate at the time told me that it was required that her name be hypenated because the Philippines doesnt recognize the new last name. Is this correct? Now we just went in to renew her Philippine passport and the consulate has hyphenated her name on the new passport. The problem is the airline tickets are not hypenated and non of her IDs are hypenated. Will we have a problem with flying with her passport?

Thanks.

Don't think it will be a problem.

My wife and I was married in the PI after our marriage she changed her PI passport to her new last name with no problem. This was in 2007
