Bad news at Dr

I need help, anyone with information I would appreciate it. My wife went in for her medical review with everything she needed. She had a past issue with cancer and had a letter saying it was in remission. The lab tech did not have access to that information and deferred us. Now we have to wait until next Thursday for a doctor to review. Is there anything else we can push on. Our consulate visit is on July 5th and my wife has no where to live so this is a desperate plea.

I can't believe the tech didn't have access to that letter and I really can't believe the doctor only works one day a week for 3 hours.
