Hi guys,

I need your expertise here! pls... I logged into https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx to print out my IV Fee barcode sheet. I paid the $404 fee on June 3, 2011. I logged in at June 5, 2011 and I saw the bar code was ready. I didn't print it out at that time because I was waiting for some paper from my wife for the DS-230. I received all the paper that I need for DS-230 and now I get the following error:

Please be advised that the case that you have attempted to access is not eligible for further processing by the National Visa Center at this time. Please click on the Contact the NVC hyperlink if you believe that you have received this message in error.

I saw in previous discussions that means my case is complete (yay!). However, I haven't sent my DS-230 yet??? And I haven't downloaded the IV Fee paid barcode to my computer what to do???? If anyone had any prior experience like this, please let me know. I great appreciate your inputs.

If it helps. This is what I have completed so far:

I-130 packet (I-130, G325A) then AOS packet (I-864 + $88 fee paid) then emailed DS-3032. Paid $404 IV fee. Haven't sent DS-230 yet due to waiting on documentation from wife.

By the way, my special thanks to everyone and visajourney for your clear instructions. It has helped me a lot.

You're getting a false SIF. If you haven't sent in the DS230, then obviously your case is not complete. The bar code cover sheets are not exactly the same. They do have the same bar code on it, however, the DS230 has different instructions (to the beneficiary) and ATTN: CMR in the address area.

Holding my nose and jumping off the cliff.. hope I don't hit any rocks in the water.

Thanks CanadaLove! I will be calling the NVC soon and will update this thread with the result of the call.

One thing I didn't mention was that I requested for expeditious process!

So I call up NVC and they told me that they forwarded my case to the embassy (meaning my expeditious process was approved at the NVC level)! That's why I couldn't login to the NVC payment site. Next step, they said is that embassy would contact me directly with the information I need to send to them.

I asked the NVC personnel, what if I already mailed the DS-230 to NVC. She said that's not a problem, as soon as they receive it, they will forward the papers to the embassy. So with a little bit of luck everything will be faster. I will keep everyone posted. Thanks again to everyone at VJ.

My wife is pregnant. I should have done it earlier. It was kind of late in the game. All they needed was DS-230. Everything else was done. Hope this information helps you.

Oh ok good reason. I guess I can't use that one. I hope all goes well and soon u can be with her and your baby.
