Does anyone know if from DS-156 has been officially replaced now starting in June to online DS-160??? I know there that both forms were to be filled out until the complete transition over to online DS-160 form but I received my packet 3 this week and when i went on the consulate website as instructed to do so from my packet 3 to fill out the appropriate forms there is no indication to fill out DS-156 form. All the other forms to fill out are listed except for DS-156. I am still able to download the DS-156 form but the expire date on the top right hand corner indicates 05-31/2011. Anybody know how to proceed with this? I have cut and past the entire web page below from the consulate site that I was instructed to go to fill out the forms for packet 3 for you to view. thanks for your help.

Nonimmigrant Visa Forms

DS-160

The new DS-160, Nonimmigrant Visa Electronic Application, is a fully integrated online application form that is used to collect the necessary application information from a person seeking a nonimmigrant visa. The DS-160 is submitted electronically to the Department of State via the Internet. Consular Officers use the information entered on the DS-160 to process the visa application and, combined with a personal interview, determine an applicant's eligibility for a nonimmigrant visa.

The DS-160 must be completed in English. Applicants who do not complete the DS-160 in English will be required to either edit their DS-160 or submit a new DS-160

Applicants who incorrectly choose the gender on their form will also be required to either edit the DS-160 or submit a new one.

If you cannot find your visa category in the DS-160 please select "B1" for the purpose of travel.

DS-156E

This application form should be completed by any applicant applying for a Treaty Trader (E1) or a Treaty Investor (E2) visa.

It looks like you didn't look at the actual consuls visa pages... Thos would be the pages to read.

Montreal still requires both.

Vancouvers P3 also states to fill out the DS-156 apps.

Actually, I did that is why I am confused because the website page that are in packet 3 instruct you to go to this site http://usvisa-info.com/en-CA/selfservice/ss_country_welcome to complete the required forms for the next step and DS-156 is not one of the forms mentioned to complete, rather there is a flashing "new" icon beside DS-160 indicating that it fully online. Thanks for your help though, I am going to still complete and print off 2 copies of DS-156 forms even though the expiry on it states 05/31/2011 and submit it. Thank you.
