SA police check

I got my fingerprints done today - the police officers were really confused! They had them ready for me to pick up in the city in about an hour! So all that needs to be done now is to wait for the actual police clearance - which will take up to 4 weeks right?

Hey Everyone - ok, this is going to sound like a really ridiculous question, but i just want to make sure that i have the right piece of paper in front of me. I requested my police clearance at the Port Adelaide police station on Tuesday of last week (23/08/2011) - i got my finger prints printed out the same day and I received what I think is my police clearance in the mail today - i just wanted to make sure it is the right thing, because judging by most of the replies on here it took approx 4 weeks for everyone to receive theirs? The paper I have says "National Police Certificate" and then it has the emblems of the states down the left hand side in blue and then it says something about my fingerprints and then at the bottom it says "disclosable history" and then Nil. Is this the actual clearance - or is it just something to do with my fingerprints? Sorry if this sounds really dumb, but im just a little unsure as everyone said it would take up to 4 weeks to get back to me?
