Hi all,

once approved and passes her interview, how long would it take for her to have the actual visa in hand? The reason I'm asking is because we were thinking she would wait in manila instead of going back to Valencia City. Was also thinking if i had a time frame of how long it would take to get the visa, i could purchase her airline tickets in advance with trip insurance in case we were denied for some strange reason. These are just thoughts of ours but i need more details regarding the visa processing time before we can even begin to look into this option.

Conventional wisdom says do not buy tickets until the visa is her hand. That being said, I defied conventional wisdom and learned the hard way.

I went to the Philippines after interview approval and allowed two weeks for her visa. My plan was we would all fly back together. Her visa arrived the day after I got back to the states.

Are her CFO requirements complete? She has to get that little sticker in her passport after the visa is issued.

You pay your money and you take your chances/
