Yep, I had my medical in advance. All you need to have is your Manila case number/NVC case number, 2x2 photos, the medical fee, and passport. Just tell the guard at St. Luke's that you're doing it in advance. Hope you have all the documents needed for NVC. All the originals are needed. From here you will need to have NBI, NSO Marriage Certificate, NSO Birth Certificate, photocopy of your passport's biographic page, 2x2 photos, and the DS230.

Do the electronic process for the NVC by sending the DS3032 via email. You have to call them everyday. That's what we did. don't wait for the mail to come, call them. Being reactive will not work on the NVC stage.

Goodluck! :)

No, I didn't. You won't need it in any way. You just need your case number because you need it to fill out the forms for your medical. If the guard will ask about your appointment letter, tell him that you are doing it in advance and you have your case number already. It's not big deal.

  • 2 months later...

Can someone accompany me during the medical?

They only allow the person who is having the medical exam only. No one else can go because they check you MNL number and NOA2 letter with your passport and your two US style passport pictures.
