my wife just got done with her medical at st luke's and since it was advanced, they didn't take her passport. told her to just take it to the embassy. is this normal?

medical went well by the way. no dreaded sputum test.

stayed at the Lotus Garden Hotel and it was a nice place to stay. free breakfast buffet was excellent. (thought i'd throw it in there for folks wanting to know where they could stay)

yah. . . i also did an advance medical. . . :) just take it with her to the interview. St.Lukes will forward the result to the embassy anyway, her passport should have her PDS barcoded sticker and a stamp from st.lukes so she'll be fine. . :)

Actually, when I had mine last May 12 - 13, I asked them, 'I thought you will be taking our passports and include it in sending to the US embassy?' They said they changed that process, since April 15, which is why they asked for a photocopy of the passport details page :) Congrats, and goodluck with the interview! :)
