Hi guys! I tried posting this at the Embassy forum but no-one answered me so I am trying here again..

I got confirmation from Frankfurt yesterday that they have received my case. They also said it will take a few days to send out the letter (Packet 3) but I can already send the documents as stated on their website and checklist:

1.) Immediately fill out and mail in:

* DS-230 (pdf)

* DS-156 (pdf - in duplicate)

* DS-156K (pdf - do not sign form; you are required to sign it before a consular officer on the day of your interview)

* DS-157 (pdf - for all male applicants between the ages of 16-45)

2.) Follow the checklist instructions, collect the documements listed and mail in the signed "Applicant Statement" when all documents are collected:

* K-Visa IV Document Checklist and Applicant Statement (pdf)

Failure to return these documents promptly will delay the processing of the application.

---------------------

So I really need to send in all of those forms and as the checklist states, all the data pages of my passport?

And also, the DS-156 has a space for a passport picture...do I already attach that now and send the form in with the picture attached (in duplicate)?

And as I am female, do I need to fill out form DS-157? Cause sometimes it says all male applicants between ages 16-45 and on the checklist it says all applicants from age 16...so that would include females again...

Hi Caroline,

First of all, congratulations on getting to this point in your journey! I'm seeing this late so I don't think you need your questions answered anymore as I see you have your interview date. So, I'll just say "Good luck" at the interview!
