Part 5.G of the I-864 states:

OPTIONAL: If you have siblings, parents, or adult children with the same principal residence who are combining their income with yours by submitting Form I-864A, enter the number here.

In my house, we are myself, dad and his wife, and my wife who is immigrating, so we are 4 total. I only want to use an i-864a from my dad as his income is sufficient for all of us and saves us a whole lot of energy for having to also file an i-864a for my step-mother.

However, if I only put one person in 5.g, the total comes out to 3, and my dad and step-mom filed their tax return jointly, so It'll be obvious that we are actually 4 including the intending immigrant.

What do I do?

Advice?

Thanks guys!
