My husband is from Egypt. His passport has 4 names. I filed the I-130 and used the 2 names in the middle as his middle name. They sent the 797 today and eliminated the 3rd name. Am I supposed to correct this or do they purposely keep off one of the 4 names. In USA we use 3 names. Should I correct this and make them use all 4 names as in his passport or leave just the 3 names?

Thank you

Hmmmmm this one has me scratching my head unsure.gif... Ahmed has 4 names and they kept all the names as is... so really I am curious to know why they did that with your husband's? unsure.gif I wish I had some solid advice for you on this one, but I am so sure someone will come along soon and help you with this. I am thinking though maybe for just the intents and purposes they omitted one of his names just for the NOA1 but in their records it is still as it should be with the 4th name included. I would call and ask them what is up with that. I know they got to keep his name as it appears in his passport when it is time to issue a visa, so maybe it was just put like that in the Notice of Action letter. Hope you find out what's going on!

Thanks Amber. Can you tell me when you applied did you put 2 of his names under the middle name section? Also, how was the night of dancing after the interview date was given?

Hi, Hany has 6 names when I received the NOA1 they had dropped all but the 1st, 2nd and last leaving only 3, after that the NOA2, PK 3, PK4 had only the 3 on them. Hany's passport has all 6 names idk why they changed everything from the original I-129F information, weird right? Have a Great Day!

Hello, I put both one under the middle name and the 2nd one under his last name then I put his last name under the section for other names used. Our nights are always filled with dancing and loving each other, it was awesome as always! Thank you for asking, we are still happy and excited to see the light getting brighter at the end of this immigration tunnel. I pray all of us see the end of this part of the immigration process very soon!
