We had medical on 5/13. Received packet 3 on 5/13. Mailed it on 5/12. The Embassy originally said that it would take 2-4 weeks to log-in the packet 3 and 5 days for the medical. MRV fee was paid on 5/17.

They now show the medical results on 5/20 and packet 3 logged on 5/21.

The very helpful woman at the Embassy helpline said that my fiancee should have correspondence and an appointment letter by now, which seems quick to me. She also told us to immediately email the CO (to the unworking email.) She said she was unable to see appointments. I assume DOS is as well. (This was late Friday.) Our wedding was supposed to have been yesterday, so we had asked for an early appointment, so it isn't that unreasonable to assume we could have missed it.

Is there another way to find an appointment? Is there an appointment yet? (We know how to find non-immigrant appointments, but it doesn't show.) We'd sure hate to miss it!

Any suggestions appreciated.

If you have been scheduled, DOS will know.

I just spoke with DOS. They said there is no appointment scheduled, that he was "made eligible for an appointment on the 21st." They said it could take a month. Does anyone know a month for the appointment, or a month to schedule? (Thank God we didn't miss it.) Odd the Embassy didn't know.

You speak to a helpline at the embassy who doesn't have access to see all your details. When she said she couldn't see appointments, maybe she meant she didn't have access. Or maybe she meant she couldn't see it meaning there's not one yet to see.

I called the Embassy or DOS on a daily basis it took me 2 weeks to have my date after the medical they told me that they were trying to allocate the dates accordinlgy they appeared to be increasingly busy, so call them daily and you should have the date very soon. All the best...
