i just wanna ask if it is necessary to write both of our names in the Hotel Receipts to show proofs that we've been together..What if its only his name written on it?..is it valid?...Which is the right one?..Thanks

I did send in our receipts for my 3 separate visits to Davao to see my girlfriend (now asawa!). I agree receipts are secondary evidence, but hotel receipts are EVIDENCE. I see no reason to not send any receipts that can further assist the USCIS officer in approving your petition.

My advice is make good copies and include in your package.

Also my wife's name was not on the receipt.

We had 2 or 3 pics of us together at the hotel....front desk, out front and at dinner.

Hi. My fiance' sent our hotel receipts, only his name was in there, we don't have photos together in those hotels and condos we had stayed before. And now, we just got our NOA2 in less than 3 months without any RFEs.

So, you should be okay.

Hotel receipts are good for your BF to use as proof he has been in the Phils. I used it as good supporting evidence but my hotel receipts were in my name only. I used pictures of us together in manila with the Embassy in the backgroung and same at ST Lukes and many pics at her parents home and at many landmarks in her city. I used plane ticket receipts to show I was in the province my then Gf lived.

the big proof is being together. Having met. This means flights tickets. The best primary evidence. Hotel receipts, bus tickets, meal receipts, purchases, bank withdrawals, etc, all prove being there in person. Photos sowing family friends, other people are good. Photos just showing the of you are of last resort. There should be different places, different locations, different outfits... all sorts of things... also if the photos have date stamps from different dates and times. But hotel receipts, expenses, etc are what is termed secondary evidence, it goes towards the primary of boarding passes. Boarding passes, luggage tags/claim tickets, taxes paid at airport, customs checks, receipts from meals at airports along the way, are like liquid gold.

These will be additional proof of on going relationship at the interview. Nice but not necessary. More important though if you are going the Fiancee route vs. marriage route. Best of luck with your journey!!!
