what is this Alien(A file number) registration number that appears at most of the forms for adjustment of status, next to social security number?

I don't think I have such a number

I have read that this number is above your name on the k-1 visa petition approval notice.

It is located on your NOA2 and some embassys print them on the visas below the name but not all print the number on the visa.

You can locate it called " A# ----------- "
