I made my usual call to the NVC this morning and was told that they had great news. My husband's interview in Dakar Senegal was made !!! I was so excited ...... until ..... they told me the date of the interview ... July 28 ..... "you must mean June, I said" ... "that's 2 months away ..... 2 more long months away" :o:o:o .... I have to admit that it blew me away .. I'm sure some of you already know how it feels when you find you must wait once again, just when you were about to start shopping for flights and a new night gown ... so I won't go into detail.. hahaha ... My question is, have any of you ever tried to reschedule your interview for an earlier date ??? ... especieally in Dakar? ...... anyways once again I appreciate your comments and as for me I guess I'll just keep on praying and hoping and etc. until we see each other again

Thanks to those of you who respong ...... and perhaps I should make it a little more clear ... my husband and I were hoping for an interview a lot sooner  , like in 2 weeks, not 2 months ....... but at least we have one though ... God doesn't always answer prayer according to our timing,(can't imagine Him with a watch on) but He does answer ... and I do thank Him for this and accept it because these individual experiences are like little pools of water in the desert and we make our journey from one to the next ... and just when we think we're going to die of thirst, another pool appears ... so we should know from experience that there's always another one coming ... that's why we hope or we pray ... and all these things become a sort of chain ... you don't stop with one link, once it's complete ... and so we travel from hope to hope, prayer to prayer, visajourney-post to visajourney-post... stregth to strength ...

I can't resist the urge to hope again and start praying for whatever may come next ... perhaps an earlier appointment.... it can't hurt and at least it will keep me busy until July 28 just in case this is fate ... hahaha ... I plan on writing the embassy to see what our chances are of finding an earlier appointment ... perhaps there may be a cancelation really soon and we might be able to be on call for something like that ... if not, I have 2 good months of my summer vacation to hit the gym before my husband arrives ... thanks for letting me share
