Mumbai Consulate/VFS

I was wondering if anyone had the same experience? My husband went this am to pay the courier fee at the VFS office in Mumbai and the gentleman asked him for his packet. He stated to the gentleman that it had been submitted through the NVC in the States and we know that the US Embassy in Mumbai has the packet. The gentleman continued by telling my husband he was not able to pay the courier fee until he completed the DS230 part 1 & 2 and submitted all paperwork along with the medical. The instructions we were given by the NVC was to take his passport with the interview notice to the VFS office not redo the entire packet. Also our instructions from the NVC stated to bring the sealed envelope that contained the medical along with another passport police clearance to the interview. We are nervous with regards to turning over the medical(we only have one if the medical where everything else he has cerified copies). Anyone experience this before or any thoughts on it?

I am not sure why VFS is asking you to fill another DS-230 anyways you only have to do the part 1, part 2 where the signature is you leave that part and you only sign in front of CO.

You can submit medical records to VFS, they do give you a complete list of documents that you submit to VFS so you dont have to worry as it clearly states you have handed over the records to VFS.

I think I did the same handed them a copy of police and passport PCC, medical records, I had my employer letter from US so had handed over that and what else few other docs dont exactly remember.

They did not take the x-ray or would had handed over that too
