Can anyone tell me what forms will need to be sent in for packet 3 for the London embassy? They mailed it to him over 3 wks ago and I phoned the DOS and they said that I can just submit the forms without having to actually have received the packet 3 so I want to go ahead and get that together. I am hoping he can have his interview while I am there in July(I know I don't have to be but I would like to be there). Thanks in advance. :)

DS-230 part 1

DS-156 x 2

DS-156K

DS-157 x 2

DS-2001

All forms can be downloaded from: http://london.usembassy.gov/iv_15.html

This is all 'packet 3' tells you anyway! It's just a letter telling you to go to that website and download them.

They have to have received the medical results and all the forms before they will schedule an interview. It doesn't really matter which is done first, because they're not going to issue you an interview date until they have both. So, it would make sense to book your medical as soon as possible, as it might be a couple of weeks away.

You will need your case number (LND number) to book the medical. This number is in packet 3, but if you don't have it and don't want to wait for the letter to arrive, just call DOS and they'll tell you. I believe the second part of DS-230 is taken with you to the interview.

Thanks again. I am filling the forms out through adobe but cannot fit the addresses and such in the space provided. Does anybody know how to change the font size so that it all fits? I am at my witts end with it. I have tried typing it in word and then cutting and pasting but it will not let me. Should I just attach an addendum?

on the DS-156k Form: Do I attach all that it is asking or just submit the forms and bring that to interview?

You should just submit the forms and bring those documents with you to the interview :) I don't think you can edit the forms in any way, so I just abbreviated where I could ('Bucks' for 'Buckinghamshire', for example)

OMG!. I am so confused right now. We never received the packet 3 so I am just going by what the embassy website states to send in all the forms but then the DS-2001 just states to send in DS-230 pt 1. If I do send all the forms do I send the duplicates, where applicable, too? Why can't it be clearer for crying out loud!!! lol

I believe the second part of DS-230 is taken with you to the interview.

A K1 never does DS-230 Part 2. That is for visas like the CR1 spousal visa.
