I have to send police report to NVC and my lawyer send me email asking for police report and police clearance is there any difference between them? he is close for today.So i hope u guys help me out.and do we have to send all the original to nvc or just a copies cause i have all the original here in usa my wife's and mine both of us papers and can some one plz tell me in detail what i need to get from my wife and from me.and no links plz Thanks u guys

Not sure if you are DCF or Filing via USA, But sounds like USA if so yes he'll need the original.

When you send the DS-230 package they require the originals, so yes make sure your lawyer has a copy of the original. Send a copy to him also though because I think you have to send originals plus a copy of each document. You only need to retain a copy for your medical, they dont need the original.

Havent heard of anything called police clearance, but its probably just the police report :D

Then yes the NVC will need originals of the documents, including the police report :)

Yes You will need the Original.....

My friend didn't have the Original so they told her to fax it or something like that and they told her make sure her husband brings the Original one to his interview.

and it worked out fine... :)

9-17-2010-Married Yey! :)

USCIS

I130 Sent 11-19-2010

I130 Approved 4-13-2011

NVC

37 days through NVC.

NVC received 4-26-2011

Nvc Completed 6-2-2011

Interview : 7-15-2011 :) YEY!

7/15/2011 -Interview Approved! :)
