Hi,

do we have to have photos as I-751 evidence? I just sort through our photos and we have very few photos together. Most of the time, we just take pictures of each other because I don't carry a tripod everywhere we go.

here is the list of things we are going to submit:

- partial copy of passport of my wife (we didn't feel like including all the blank pages, so we only copied important pages and pages with stamps)

- copy of her green card

- joint account statements from two banks

- copies of rental leases with both our names

- joint tax return transcripts for 2010, 2009, and 2008

- copy of title of our car showing joint ownership

- copy of automobile insurance showing both name under the same policy

- letter from HR attesting my wife is listed as my primary beneficiary on life insurance

- letters from investment firms attesting my wife is listed as my primary beneficiary on retirement plans

- copy of airline itinerary for our vacation

is this package strong enough?

As far as the picture issue goes, maybe just make a point of taking some together in the next week and try to include other family members. I know it is common to not take as many pics together, especially if it is just the two of you most of the time, but it won't hurt to bulk up a little.

As far as your other evidence, you might want to also include joint utility bills, credit card statements. Just something more dynamic showing ongoing relationship. Adding someone to a lease or policy is good too, just less dynamic. This seems to be the least risky and troublesome portion of the journey. I will be happy when we are doing this next year! Good luck, bro!

Good strong evidence IMO. We threw in a copy of both our driver's licenses bearing the same address. Like the previous poster, pics can help. "They" say sworn affidavits are only needed if you're lacking other evidence, which it looks like you're ok there, but if you wanted to 2 of those aren't a bad idea. If you have utility bills, even if they're in one name and the other, we put those in spanning the period of our marriage. He has the telephone & cable in his name and I have the electric & internet in mine.

thank you simel. we are having some difficulty producing some of the items. for example, as a student I move every year, so my driver's license and my wife's driver license have different addresses, and they are not our current address. we currently live on campus, so there is no utility bills. in fact, i just checked our credit card statements, but only my name is on the paper although my wife has the same card. i remember a couple of years ago when i called the credit card company asking to put my wife's name there, but they were giving me some stupid ####### such as her ssn, her credit history, her visa type and made it impossible to add her name to the statement, and after she got her gc, we forgot about the whole thing. why is our nation so discriminating against foreign people?

My husband encountered those issues too. The period of time before his EAD came was very long and I believe the gap in employment in his field led to him later not being able to get a job for many many months.

While I love our field office and the people who work there, dealing with the USCIS on a non-local level can be daunting.

In any case, you do have solid evidence. Tax returns are good, joint checking and leases are excellent. I'd get some pics and 2 affidavits, couldn't hurt your case.

Good luck!
