It's been over 6 weeks since they supposedly sent packet 3 and we haven't received anything yet on either side. I wouldn't be freaking out this much if I wasn't seeing people whose packet was received by Juarez about 2 weeks ago already receive their invitation letter. While it's really cool to see others progress in their journey, I'm really afraid of getting to Juarez only to sit there for 5 days and not be ale to do anything. I keep calling the service center and they tell me two different things:

1. I don't need the letter, I can show up and use the confirmation email in place of the invitation letter.

2. They'll print out my letter at the information window.

The problem is both of these options involve me showing up to Juarez and finding out if they are true. As we all know, they give out erroneous info all the time, you just can't believe them, and I don't know what to do about this. Anyway, I was hoping someone knew a way to get DIRECTLY get in touch with the consulate in order to sort this mess out... Any suggestion is appreciated. Thanks.

Hi there!

we had our invitation letter in the US mail one month & 5 days from the NOA2

I believe you need the original letter, so I think you should call them...thats my 2 cents (or 20 centavos)

kim

I'd love to call them, I just can't find a number to call. I've already called the call center but they're of no help, which is why I'm asking above about any way to contact the actual consulate.

You can also try the call center from Mexico 656-212-1016. My fiance got better info from that side than I did at the 703# though they are supposedly the same thing. From what I hear that is as close to the consulate that you can get by phone.

You can, however, put in an inquiry by e-mail. https://ciudadjuarez.cms.getusinfo.com/public_inquiry_form.html It supposedly takes 10-15 days though they got back to me in 5. Their information IS accurate! I would do that in the meantime.

My fiance tried to get his letter printed out at the consulate like they used to do and after he waited in line for hours he was told directly that they don't do that anymore.

You DOneed your letter to be admitted into the consulate and the medical. They accepted my fiance's scanned and printed copy but many were turned away because their faxes were not clear enough. They will not accept a confirmation e-mail.

Thanks for the link to the inquiry form, it's exactly what i needed. A phone # where I could get immediate action would be cool but this definitely works. I was also able to get a report filed by asking for a supervisor at the call center (which i did not know was possible, only took me 2 weeks of calling almost everyday to find out!) If anyone has similar troubles to mine, immediately ask to speak to a supervisor and they'll send a note to the consulate asking to have your case looked over. Hopefully with the inquiry I sent through the form and help from the supervisor at the call center I'll receive my invitation letter on time.
