I am going to visit a girl I have gotten to know In cambodia.

March 17, the law changed saying you have to be under 50, and make $2500 a month.

Does anyone know if that means 2500 net,...or Gross?

It simply says $2500 a month..please let me know..this will decide if I can get married or not.

Thanks

Hey there, you will have to prove to them that you take home at least 2500.00 a month. They don't look and don't know the difference between gross and net. They will just shrug you off if you try to explain the difference. So net would be the answer. Make sure you get a letter from your employer stating how long you've been employed and monthly salary. Some of those officials are always trying to find a reason to make a buck. (example: this paperwork isn't complete but for ten bucks I can approve it)
