Hello,

My fiance lives in England and he has recently moved. We file our paperwork with the California office on Feb 22nd 2011 and are not just waiting for a reply. But now that my fiance has moved we need to change his address and I am not sure how to go about doing this. On the USCIS.gov website there is a change of address section but I think it is only for me, the U.S. citizen to change the address so how do I get my fiances address changed?

I will probably be calling them tonight but just wanted to see if anyone had any advice. Thank you! :)

In the UK you can contact the post office and they can redirect all mail to the new address, you have to pay for it, but every time me and my family moved we've done that for about 6 month till we've had a chance to change all address with everything like banks and work etc.

What they do is in the sorting office they will stick a lable over the old address with the new address on it.

i wouldn't trust the post office too much, when we moved we paid for a year they redirected only 1 letter and that was it they just didn't do it, i am not sure of the process on changing the address on this side

Nearly there, and for those who are just starting the k1 it is a long wait but once it is over the time feels well spent

So I have just called the USCIS and they want me to send a letter to the California Service Center with evidence proving that my fiance has changed his address. They were not able to advise me on what 'evidence' means, does anyone have any advice?

They have to always make is difficult don't they :( Just want the wait to be over...
