Good evening VJ crew!

I hope everyone is doing well!

A few quick questions -

On question 8 of the I-134, are they referring to my fiancee or if there is another person that depends on me?

I'm a little confused so any information would be a great help!

Also - How long should my fiancee wait for packet 3 before she goes to consulate and pick one up? Can she do it or does the USC have to.

It was sent to her from the consulate on 5/9 but she hasn't received it. Apparently mail service in Vietnam is not the best.

Question 8 refers to any current dependants other than your fiance'.. an example.. my son from a previous marriage is listed there...

Once the case has been sent to HCMC.. start calling DoS and ask for the case status.. they will be able to tell you when the pkt 3 has been mailed out... no need to pickup pkt 3 as it is available online... you can download the documents from the HCMC Consulate website .. complete them and email or fax them to the consulate once they have mailed the pkt 3 to her... (not before)

No worries.. Download pkt 4 as well so you can get everything prepared ahead of time... You need to wait for the actual pkt 4 before you get the medical and police cert.... they both expire and should be obtained less than 2 months before the interview in case there is a delay at the interview stage...
