Just got my interview!

I haven't actually posted as of yet, but this site has been so helpful with helping me stay calm! I received my e-mail (we did online processing) today confirming my interview for June 27! As excited as I am, talk about bad timing. I am a teacher and that is the last week of school! lol

So first thing tomorrow I am going to call the doctor in Toronto to book my medical, book an appointment with my family doctor to get me vaccination records, and take a deep breath!

I registered for DHL tonight, however according to Montreal's website I don't have an interview date scheduled as of yet. I am assuming this is because I just received my confirmation and the transfer of information from NVC to Montreal is probably slow.

So am I missing anything? Does anyone have any tips or reminders to help me make it through the nest month and a half? :)

Congrats!! I also got that date assigned to me last night! I tried calling to book medical today, not open. I dont think they are open on Sunday either though :/ so Im waiting till monday to book mine. Someone else just posted they got their interview date the same day too. So exciting!! Congrats again!

Thanks! I tried calling as well - lol! First thing Monday I will be calling them and my family doctor. Congratulations!

ty you too! yeah I have to call family dr too.. I need a booster.. havent had one since 9th grade.. but I have all my vaccine records which is good! Im hammering out the details now for my trip.. my step sister wants to come with, which works for me... even though she cant come into the consulate at least she could hold onto my cell and what not while Im there. Id feel way better than leaving it alone in a hotel room.

My mom is coming with me - I just booked my hotel today. We are going to go on the Saturday and at least try to have some fun on the Sunday before the interview.

yeah thats what we are thinking too. go up Saturday! What hotel are you staying at?

Le Nouvel Hotel - I got it through the Priceline name your own price option, so I didn't know which hotel until after it was booked, but I got a really good deal because of that.
