TODAY I RECIEVED AN EMAIL FROM MY LAWYER..SHE SAID SHE RECIEVED THE FEE BILLS TODAY..THAT IT TAKES ABOUT 2 DAYS FOR THEM TO SHOW UP AS PAID..THEN SHE SAID SHE WILL BE ABLE TO FILL OUT THE form DS-260 online and electronically SEND THE NVC PACKET.AND THAT I WAS ASSIGNED AN MEP case number which means THEY will submit all documents electronically.

AND THAT ONCE THE PACKET IS SENT WE JUST HAVE TO WAIT FOR AN INTERVIEW DATE TO BE ASSIGNED..IM SOO ANXIOUS TO KNOW AND GET THIS OVER WITH AND BE BACK HOMW WITH MY FAMILY..IT FINNALLY FEELS REAL AND ALOT MORE CLOSE TO BE DONE THANK GOD!!

SO ALL THIS SHOULD BE DONE BY NEXT WEEK IF THATS THE CASE SHOULD I BE GETTING AN INTREVIEW DATE IN JUNE?

Click on Immigration time lines at the top of the page and hunt around to find what you need--it isn't always obvious. Also try clicking on Portals and then select Mexico--there might be a separate listing for CDJ--and also hunt around. The organization isn't always the easiest.

And yes call NVC--all you need is the WAC.... number you got from USCIS back when and you can get your case number.
