My parent lives with me and I claim my parent as my dependent in my tax returns. Now it is time for me to submit i-134 and I am sure I have to add my parent's name into I-134 as my dependent. My yearly income is way above the poverty guidelines, however I am a little nervous since my parent is over 60. Are they going to calculate differently for older people since they might need extra care? Should I look for a co-sponsor?

The other question is that I have co-sponsored my parent about 4 years ago. Should I include my parent in question 9? Question 9 stating "previously submitted affidavit(s) of support", I was a co-sponsor. Should that be listed in question 9?

Thanks

If you look @ the poverty guidelines its not by age, its by the amount of people in a house hold, so age does not matter.

And yes you should list your parent in question 9. It IS a previously submitted affidavit support, just makesure you put that you were a co-sponsor.

Goodluck on the rest of your journey!
