Hi friends,

May I know if the doc such as employment letter of sponsor needs to be updated for the interview? Since it has been couple of monthes since we filed the paper work, not sure if the interviewer wants to see the 'current' letter issued at a date closer to the interview day??

Thank you so much.

Jo

Our IO didn't ask for it, but we brought it just in case. It was a job offer letter stating my husband's salary and start date, and a pay stub of a bonus he had received in advance of starting. We also brought his W-2 from 2010. Again, they never asked for it but we brought it for mental health.

Most people just bring their three most recent pay stubs. Good luck on your interview! Has it been scheduled already?

Nov. 5: Sent AOS Package

Nov 17: AOS received by USCIS

April 1: INTERVIEW DAY. Approved!!!!!!

Early June: Moved to New York City. The only relevant city in the world ;)

Hello...We didn't bring any updated employment letter during our interview. The interviewer didn't ask for that from us. Important updated documents you should bring with you are your 2010 ITR, W2 and some current paystubs. God bless!!...:-)

Thanks everyone!!

We just had our interview this morning and it is approved! Everything goes smoothly, the IO didnt ask many questions, just simple 'Yes/No' questions about my DOB, when I entered the US and where do I leave.

My husband and I are currently living apart b/c he is in the military while I am finishing my master degree, but the IO didn't question us about that, just ask if this is still the situation.

In the end, he said the card will arrive 3-5 weeks and reminded us to remove conditions 2yr later. He didn't take my I-94, but I think this is approved based on what he said before, right? :innocent:

Thanks again to VJ!! and good luck to everyone!!!!!

Jo
